Our mission is to eliminate the starvation, homelessness, and extreme poverty in Soweto Kenya.
Matthew 25:40 "The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
NOTE from Thomas Dunn:  Due to recent challenges in my life I will not be able to focus on this important mission started seven years ago in Soweto Kenya.  I hope to be back in the fight soon.  In the meantime, please pray for these awesome people and help them if you can.  They are wonderful people faced with very difficult challenges.  My great friend and battle partner of now 7 years and resident of Soweto Kenya "Peter Otieno Menya" has recently opened a PayPal account to receive financial support.

You can also support Fruit of God mission by sending support through either Western Union or MoneyGram.  Please click on the button below to send support directly to Peter Otieno Menya.

Soweto Kenyan widows might currently live in poverty but, they have amazing skills and an entrepreneur mind set...  They are smart, hardworking, and very resourceful.  Given a small amount of capital and business coaching support, these Christian Kenyan widows have the potential for a great future.

Our mission provides the capital needed to help widows start small businesses which support their families.  This capital is used to purchase the basic tools and materials necessary to start their micro business.  It also provides up to one years’ worth of financial support while they grow their business.  In addition, the mission provides each new business owner the business planning and business acumen skills needed to ensure long term profitability.

Testimony: “I was given the capitol needed to purchase a pedal powered sewing machine and enough fabric to get started as a tailor.  Now I am capable of producing high quality clothing for the local market.  I thank God for giving me this opportunity.  I am now part of a team of ten tailors as seen in my photos on the left.  We called our business the Fruit of God clothing factory.  It has enabled me and the other tailors to produce beautiful clothes and to provide for our families.”

Many of the children now resident at the Fruit of God Children Center lived in the streets most of their life.  No home, no bed, no Mom or Dad to care for them when they got sick, and no food to eat.  The children are now being well cared for and express their gratefulness to God every single day.  It is a clear reminder of how our awesome God uses His body “you and I” to deliver His wondrous miracles.  Thank you God for allowing us to serve you and for allowing us to play a part in your mysterious and unfolding glorious plan.

We need financial support to help this mission continue caring for these children and to expand our capacity to allow the remaining orphaned children a safe place to call home.  Together as one body of Christ, we can do this!!  More importantly, God has spoken clearly that He wants us to do this.  He loves these people and wants His body to love them as He loves us.
